I have to admit that the Social Media thing has been a bit of a challenge for me. Why should I spend time writing or connecting with people I don’t know, what’s the point? And also I have always had the habit that someone else learns the “technology” and just show me how!

Increasingly I was aware that it was something I needed to understand and embrace for myself and as with all “perceived” challenges I have ……………my solution was to send out an intention via my vision board and here it is………………

I will attract the best support to help my business grow and thrive

So here is what happened

Last month I launched The Key at a BNI conference in Glasgow and met some amazing people including the incredibly lovely Penny Powers Founder of ECADEMY and author of the social media book KNOW ME LIKE ME FOLLOW ME

I bought Penny’s book and she was very kind and gifted me her little poem book When I Understood Social Media (I recommend you buy both)

Two weeks later I headed off to tour Morocco and took these little power gems with me WOW was I blown away with how simply & emotionally Penny articulated this subject of Social Media

But the most amazing thing was The Law of Attraction connection. The message was quite clear  

We create our opportunities through our vibrations , words & pictures and by sending out clear intentions to attract the people, places and events to help us thrive & grow. Social media is making this happen everywhere and all the time. We just need to allow it   

The magic is everywhere you just have to connect and BE YOU or in my case BE ME

Thank you Penny for being attracted into my life when I needed The Key ………………… to Social Media

My poem to Penny inspired by her book & poem

When I understood I should embrace & love social media

I “asked” for support for our vision

I asked for the fear of not understanding, not knowing how? or what? or who to be taken away

I waited and as I suspected it would do …………it arrived

I went to a conference, to an event and was blown away

I met Penny by “chance” and

I took my opportunity to connect

I watched, I listened, I heard, I sensed, I knew

I was curious

I wanted to learn more

I bought a book and was gifted a smaller one ……………. a poem with love

I visited Morocco

I chose my books and I read

I read in the sun, at the beach, in the desert, in the mountains, on the terrace

I was inspired

I discovered my theories of attraction and the internet & media were true

I was not alone in my beliefs

I felt relieved and secure

I discovered that through words

I could know so much about another person at a hugely deep level

I was excited

I recognised there are many people who are on their own wonderful journeys

I discovered their secret  

I made a commitment to apply their wisdom  

I understood ……….

to know me

to like me  

to follow me

I just had to BE ME

I can do that

I thought…………..how simple how sensible how magical

I felt enormous gratitude

Good question

Remember you are always attracting, so The Law of Attraction  is always working.

The question is are you always in the right vibration for it to help you attract your desires ?

 “The speed at which the Law of Attraction works is in direct relation to how much you believe in your desire ?

The Key is to remove doubt and limiting beliefs and allow your desires to manifest much quicker.

I unlocked The Key to Wealth, Health and Happiness at the beautiful House for an Art Lover. I had visualised an amazing day, however the response and energy far exceeded my expectations.

Dawn Gibbins, Ambassador for The Key and Channels 4’s recent Secret Millionaire, came up from Manchester making the day even more extra special. At the champagne reception, she shared with everyone a funny and inspiring insight into her experience of the Law of Attraction from The Secret and her support for The Key. I was very proud that The Key donated it’s first cheque of £150 to Dawn’s Barefoot Foundation, starting what I hope will be a very long and prosperous relationship to support Dawn’s charity throughout the UK.

I am still buzzing from the event. It is a real pleasure to be surrounded by so many like-minded and energetic people who now completely understand the Law of Attraction and I look forward to manifesting their dreams.

I was overwhelmed with the positive feedback which you can read on the key testimonial page. The most poignant for me was from Nicola Kirkwood who summed up the whole day by saying, “this has been the most positively influential day of my life.”

Successful female entrepreneur, Dawn Gibbins MBE, will be kicking off the new series of Secret Millionaire on 1st March 2010 – donating an incredible £250,000 to 3 charities in Bristol.

Dawn Gibbins made her fortune in the industrial flooring sector. She co-founded Flowcrete along with her father, the great British inventor Peter Gibbins, back in 1982 – and oversaw it’s growth to become a global market leader in commercial and industrial flooring with 30 offices and 12 manufacturing sites of excellence worldwide. Dawn sold Flowcrete in April 2008 to New York Stock Exchange listed company RPM.

Dawn visited Bristol in October 2009. From volunteering on an outreach van with the One25 project, a charity that seeks to enable women who are abused and trapped in a life of street sex-work, to serving meals to those sleeping rough and battling addiction at the Wild Goose Café, Dawn came across a world she never knew existed. Dawn also worked closely with the Teenage Parents Project in the south of Bristol, where she found inspiration in Deana Stone, a former teen mum who now helps empower young parents by offering support and guidance.

The experience changed Dawn’s life – and the 1 hour episode charts the highs and lows of Dawns emotional yet heart-warming journey.

Dawn commented “6 months ago – if anyone had asked me who inspired me, I would have said Richard Branson or Bill Gates. You can forget that now. The people who inspired and amazed me are the wonderful volunteers – who give their time and their money selflessly to help others make a better life for themselves. I am in awe at their energy and determination – they truly are amazing”.

Since the programme, Dawn has gone on to set-up ‘The Barefoot Foundation’ – a charity whose aim is to ‘eradicate poverty and abuse in the UK’ – and 100% of Dawns fees for talks, presentations and appearances will feed into the Foundation – which in turn will ensure that the money goes to where it is needed most.

The programme airs on Channel 4 at 9pm on Monday 1st March 2010.
